Vision:

To be thoughtful, faithful stewards of God's grace in its many and varied forms.

The Stewardship Team maintains a consistent, intentional focus on the key principals of Christian stewardship in order to guide the use of JCPC resources and ensure that JCPC members and friends are presented with a compelling set of giving opportunities that allow our church to make a difference in our community and the world beyond. The responsibilities associated with this mission include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing information and resources that enable JCPC members to be better stewards of the precious gifts God has shared with them
  • Educating the JCPC congregation about the critical role that stewardship plays in our lives and in our faith
  • Developing a range of giving options and channels that appeal to the congregation and ensure the success of all JCPC Ministries
  • Managing the use of resources to support maintenance of, and enhancements to, JCPC facilities and grounds
  • Developing the annual JCPC operating budget for Session approval
  • Evaluating and enhancing JCPC business processes and staffing models to ensure that our church operates as effectively and efficiently as possible
  • Maintaining regular communication with JCPC members and friends regarding the use of funds and the overall financial status of our church
  • Working with the Greater Atlanta Presbytery and the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. to extend established planned giving options to our congregation
