Child Protection Policies
At JCPC, we view ourselves as partners who work with the parents of our children, seeking to provide quality care and instruction through our ministries to children of all ages.
In keeping with this responsibility, all JCPC staff members and volunteers who work with our children are required to participate in child protection training and understand our protection policy and incident reporting procedures.
Child Protection Training Process
The following procedures have been established for the protection of our children. JCPC volunteers interesting working with children through any of our ministries must complete the steps outlined below. In addition, all volunteers must complete a background check on a bi-annual basis. Links to the documents and content referenced below are provided on the right.
Process of Online Child Protection Training:
- Read through the slide show presentation
- Read through the Child Protection Policy document
- Print, sign and have a witness for the Volunteer Acknowledgement Form
