Giving of our time, our talents and our treasures is something we joyfully do in response to God’s love for each of us, and we are blessed at JCPC to have so many members who are willing to be joyful givers throughout the year.

Financial support from JCPC members provides funding for operational expenses at our church as well as funding support for all JCPC ministries and missions. In addition, we also sponsor fund-raising activities, such as our annual Missions Golf Classic and the “Pumpkin Patch”, to provide additional support for important initiatives like international mission trips and our music ministry.

Our congregation has established a goal to commit a minimum of 10% of the JCPC operating funds to missional activity each year. This funding support enhances the designated gifts for outreach activity that we receive from members of the congregation and the community. As a result, JCPC has been able to sponsor a number of local missions, create a “Good Samaritan Fund”, and partially underwrite the cost of annual mission trips for adults and youth.

The Hands of Christ Duluth Co-op is in critical need of the following items: cereal, jelly, toilet paper and canned fruit. Summer is the most difficult time for struggling families due to children being home and not having access to free and reduced breakfast and lunch. Please leave your donations in the grocery basket in the welcome center

Thanks for Giving Generously:

CanCare: We are delighted to share that $11,289 was raised from the concert “CanCare Concert 4 A Cause” - you can still make a donation by going to the website

JCPC has been a leader in establishing the CanCare program in the greater Atlanta area. CanCare is a network of trained volunteers including cancer survivors, family members of cancer survivors and medical professionals who provide emotional support, information and resources to others facing cancer.

Cancer survivors of more than 75 different types of cancer volunteer for CanCare to provide emotional support to those currently facing a battle with cancer. A patient is matched with a CanCare volunteer for one-on-one emotional support based on a variety of criteria including cancer site, treatments, age and gender. Generally, support is provided over the phone and sometimes through email, and we encourage those who are matched with someone in the same geographical area to make an effort to meet in person.

Support for Family Members - CanCare knows that when a patient is going through treatment, it can be difficult and emotional for loved ones as well, so we also have family members of survivors ready to provide emotional support to family members of cancer patients. If you have a loved one who has been diagnosed with cancer and you need someone to talk to, CanCare can match you with a caregiver of a cancer survivor for one-on-one emotional support.

Friendly Reminder: Please don’t forgot to keep up your pledges and contributions during the upcoming busy summer months – note June results above. The needs of the church continue without a vacation while we are able to take one, so please keep up your timely contributions – it is greatly appreciated.
