Giving of our time, our talents and our treasures is something we joyfully do in response to God’s love for each of us, and we are blessed at JCPC to have so many members who are willing to be joyful givers throughout the year.

Financial support from JCPC members provides funding for operational expenses at our church as well as funding support for all JCPC ministries and missions. In addition, we also sponsor fund-raising activities, such as our annual Missions Golf Classic and the “Pumpkin Patch”, to provide additional support for important initiatives like international mission trips and our music ministry.

Our congregation has established a goal to commit a minimum of 10% of the JCPC operating funds to missional activity each year. This funding support enhances the designated gifts for outreach activity that we receive from members of the congregation and the community. As a result, JCPC has been able to sponsor a number of local missions, create a “Good Samaritan Fund”, and partially underwrite the cost of annual mission trips for adults and youth.

Hands of Christ - Pantry Volunteers Needed

They are in critical need of peanut butter and jelly at the Co-op. If members could bring some to church on Sunday, that would be wonderful! It is JCPC's turn to help out in the Hands of Christ Duluth Co-op food pantry. It is a great opportunity to get involved in one of the local missions our church supports. Please consider signing up for a shift or two using the link below. Thanks for being a blessing to others!

Central Night Shelter

On March 8th JCPC will provide a hot evening meal and lunch bags for 80 homeless people that stay overnight. It provides for men who do not have housing, food, fellowship, a safe, warm bed, along with very basic hygiene items. We need donated food items, assistance in preparing and serving the meals, and 3-4 volunteers to stay overnight at the shelter to supervise the guests.

Central Night Shelter is a volunteer-led shelter located in the gymnasium of Central Presbyterian Church (capacity of 65-70) and the Church Hall of the Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (capacity of 25-30). The shelter is open seven nights a week, beginning at 7:00 p.m., from November 1 to March 31.

Thanks for Giving Generously

2019 Budget Needs Fulfilled!

On behalf of Johns Creek Presbyterian Church, we offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to a group of JCPC members that made additional commitments to fill our budget needs of $83,867. Thus, we enter 2019 with a “balanced budget” not requiring budget cuts. We received $81,867 additional commitments from members and $2,000 additional giving from our preschool. These gifts will enable our ministry teams to fulfill our vision in 2019.

Dominican Republic Mission Trip

Our team returned this past week and shared the wonderful things they accomplished on their mission. They expressed special thanks to those that contributed $10,150 worth of items that included 15 laptop computers, crayons, paper, coloring books (donated by 2018 VBS kids), 800 tennis balls (donated by VBS), “a suitcase full” of OTC pain medicines and vitamins (donated by VBS), 8 suitcases/200 pounds of clothing, toys for children, paint brushes and rollers, 33 pairs of khaki pants for school uniforms, and miscellaneous hardware store supplies. Lots of folks Gave so these members could GO and help those less fortunate LIVE.
