Most months there is one Sunday when our Pastors, Staff and Elders meet with people ready to be received as members, and/or with those seeking further information about church membership. This Discovery Class is offered on the designated dates from 9:00 – 10:15 a.m., usually in the Library, a room directly off the church’s Welcome Center. During the Discovery Class introductions are made, there is time to review information about the congregation and the Presbyterian Church (USA) and to answer individual questions.

At 10:15 a.m. the Elders currently serving as our Session convene and act to receive those desiring to be received as members of the congregation that day, following which the new members will be introduced to the congregation during that day’s Service of Worship.

Our aim at these Discovery Classes is to help everyone come to know better how the Presbyterian Church lives out its calling in God’s world with a focus on how we seek to express this calling here at Johns Creek Presbyterian Church!
